Woodland Middle School

We would like to thank Woodland Middle School which generously allowed us to the school and talk to students. While there, we endeavored to inspire by presenting our BB-8 and V.E.R.O.N.I.C.A. robots, and teaching children about STEM and Robotics. We hope we have motivated some to pursue engineering in the future!

Culver’s Outreach

League Play 2

We are incredibly excited to announce we just placed first in our second league play. Our team worked very hard to prepare and it payed off. Rust-Oleum Visit

Yesterday, Rust-Oleum generously gave the members and parents of NYAN a tour of their facilities. They were taken through one of the main assembly lines for the assembly of pressurized spray paint cans and NYAN had the opportunity to view diverse mechanical systems and brainstorm mechanisms to use on our robot. League Play One

On 11-18-2017, NYAN robotics completed its first league play. Our of 5 matches, NYAN went undefeated and achieved a state high score of 173 points! We are excited to continue our season and plan on making dramatic improvements to our robot. A special thanks to Carmel Catholic High School for hosting this league play.

Carmel Open House

NYAN went to the Carmel Open House where we talked with parents, teachers, and prospective students. We discussed team membership and focused primarily on those interested in STEM and engineering. Carmel Donor Presentation

On 21 October 2017, N.Y.A.N. (Not Your Average Nerds) Robotics presented to Carmel Catholic High School donors at the Celebrate Carmel Gala.
